Ana Tejada

I am originally from Spain, living in Colorado for more than a decade. Since I was a child I knew I could draw and paint. My grandma was an oil painter and I spent a lot of time around oils all my life. The characteristic smell of oil paint was always present when I visited her. It was only a couple of years ago that I decided to paint more regularly, so my paintings are of all kinds of subjects, but something that always fascinates me is trying to capture the play of lights and shadows to make it more interesting.
