Barb Wagamon

I grew up on a farm in Ohio, and for many years taught Art and Science to inner-city young people in grades 6-8 and, before retiring, taught preservice teachers and graduate students at universities.  As a concept artist, my process begins with an idea or opinion (and the hope that the resulting work prompts a viewer to wonder, “What in the world is this about?”)  My current work includes watercolors, collage, and mixed media. Before coming to Colorado, I was a signature member of the St. Louis Watercolor Society.  With the Broomfield Art Guild I have found a generous, multi-talented community of artists who provide on-going encouragement and inspiration.
