Brian Sweet

My goal has always been to spend as much time as possible in nature surrounded by beauty. Born and raised in Colorado, I’ve spent my free time exploring the mountains of Colorado and surrounding states of Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico and Arizona and the scenery of these locations and the west in general, inspires my work.

 I’ve dabbled with art since I was young. I’ve experimented with both drawing and painting and enjoy drawing and painting a number of different subjects. However, I’ve always had a desire to capture the landscapes of the west.   My primary medium is oil on panel.  I enjoy the way oil adds a mystic feel to a painting and how a good painting make you wish you were in the scene.

 I like nature and making art.
