Susie Messick

My name is Susie Messick. I’m retired and have lived in Broomfield. Colorado for 14 years. I previously lived in south central Kansas in a small farming community for 40 years where I raised my three children and helped my husband with his law practice. Growing up, I have always loved to draw and paint. I vowed to take art lessons and completely improve my art skills after I retired. I have done that! I started with acrylics and moved on to oils and watercolors. To me, painting is a spiritual experience, and it becomes a purpose, and a goal. Painting and drawing bring me joy and I’m grateful to be able to express my artistic talents.
